I believe there’s a crucial link between flexibility and the need for robust organizational change management (OCM)
As technology and systems, particularly those in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 suite, become more flexible, they bring a wider range of choices and increased complexity
This added flexibility can lead to confusion, misalignment and resistance among employees who may struggle to adapt to new ways of working. That’s where OCM becomes vital
I view OCM as essential for preparing the organization to embrace these changes
It helps guide individuals through the transition, aligns processes, and fosters acceptance. By prioritizing the human element, OCM enables the workforce to understand, adopt and optimize the new capabilities that flexible technology provides
In short, the more adaptable your systems are, the greater the need for OCM to ensure the organization can effectively manage and leverage that adaptability
This perspective reinforces my belief that addressing the people side of change is just as crucial as tackling the technical aspects of ERP implementations
